Swan neck finial colour match to Redland rosemary clay classic light brindle mix

This was a special swan neck roof finial produced for a customer that was building a kitchen extension roof with a tiled roof. The requirements was to supply a roof finial to match the semi-circular profile and colour of Redland half round ridge tile (8450) for use with Rosemary Clay Classic tiles in light brindle mix colour

They had been looking for a decorative roof finial for the hip end of the extension roof to add some architectural detail and character. They had purchased some Redland rosemary clay classic light brindle mix tiles and ridges and wanted something in keeping with the roof and ridge tiles and more specifically didn't want anything too over bearing but more subtle

The roofing contractor (ROOFTEC LTD) provided a sample of the Redland half-round ridge tile to us for approval and colour matching. We ensured the colour match, size and installation were all checked before we put the finial into manufacture and produced a special colour matched scrolled swan neck finial

The customer was delighted with the end result and they sent in this picture showing it fitted with the scaffolding still in place

The colour was a medium terracotta colour with hints or orange and brown. The colour matching work involved replicating the colour and texture of the ridge tile provided to get as close as possible to the light brindle colour as possible
