Rustic effect roof dragons

These roof dragons are something a little bit different. The roof dragons are made in the normal way in our standard antique terracotta colour but a top dark layer is applied. The effect is a dark terracotta piece oozing character and charm

When the top layer is rubbed over prior to drying it reveals highlights of the terracotta beneath which makes for a very rustic and interesting look. The final colour is sealed so that the rustic colour remains and repels further erosion. The dragons make great feature pieces either on the roof or on garden structures etc. Some customers have also used roof dragons and other finials in the range to make decorative gate posts
