The next set of pics show the fleur de lis finials on each hip end of the roof. They give a nice view of the tiles roof and the finials add a nice bit of architectural detail and character:

The roof finials on the garage are actually normally installed on gable end roofs rather than hip ends but they are very versatile and the roofer has done a nice neat job installing them:
